About the Arist

I began creating photography while living as a child living overseas in Bangkok, Thailand. I continued my studies with a BFA in Studio Art, Photography and a creative writing minor, and later an MFA in Fine Art Photography. I continue to write and make art. My photographic work creates a personal narrative regarding subjects like insomnia, personal identity and mythology. In 2012 I was awarded the Silver Award for New International Photography from Gallery Photographica, and in 2011 received the Juror’s Choice Award for my work in the Persona Show at Darkroom Gallery. I have also obtained the Voter's Artist of Choice award from Projekt30 Gallery, and have had my work published in multiple catalogues and exhibitions. I currently reside and work in Sacramento, California.  I am a Professor of Art teaching in the Photography and Art New Media Departments at ARC.

  • My work is available for sale in a variety of sizes, individually printed on archival, fiber paper with archival pigment inks. I do work in other mediums as well, but those works are currently available only through exhibits. I also occasionally shoot bodouir photography for private clients.
